Garden Highlights
At the garden of John & Kathleen Bullivant:
Stop by the compost tea display at the Bullivant garden and see what’s brewing! Compost tea is valued by many gardeners as a soil amendment and as a healthy treatment for plants. You will see a home compost tea brewer on display and information about how it works, what it does, and where to get brewer kits.

At the garden of Denny & Diane Driggs:
At the Driggs’ garden, visit the Natural Landscapes Project booth and find out simple ways to control a variety of weed and bug problems naturally. You are welcome to pick up lots of free handouts. Join the Driggs’ in the movement toward chemical-free gardening. You’ll see beautiful results!

At the Garden of Tish Treherne & Adam Michel:
Our abundant rain helps create the magnificent green forests that we love here on Bainbridge Island. But too much run-off from our roofs, roads and driveways can harm our streams and bays. Have you heard of "pervious pavement"? Do you know what a "rain garden" is? At the Treherne/Michel garden, let the Bainbridge Island Watershed Council's fascinating display help you understand how we can mitigate potential harm from runoff.

At the garden of Rex & Elizabeth Olsen:
A beautiful garden is also a garden that is full of life. The Olsen’s garden is certified as backyard habitat. See the display on certification by the National Wildlife Federation and learn how to create a “backyard habitat” right in your own yard. It’s easy and rewarding!
Applications for certification by the National Wildlife Federation will be available here.
